When I feel shocked or disappointed that the youngest generation of skaters doesn't know of some of my skate heroes from the 90s and early 2000s, I simply try remember the names and deeds of some of the (non-Z-Boys) skate heroes of the 1970s and early 80s and all is forgiven.
